Katie was born November 6, 1986 in San Antonio, Texas. She has degenerative inner ear disorder that results in loss of hearing. Her long-time boyfriend, a real estate salesman Brian Habecost married her in 2014. Katie’s by far most famous role is Daphne Vasquez from Switched at Birth. In 2014, she played Deb on Cloudy With a Chance of Love. Her movies include Flying By, The Inner Circle, and The Confession.
